Vanuatu has been left reeling after category five Tropical Cyclone Pam tore through its islands over the weekend. As the scale of the devastation comes to light, World Animal Protection’s Disaster Response Team is on the ground helping animals who’ve been left injured or without shelter.
We estimate that hundreds of thousands of animals have been affected and with the shortage of water, food and shelter, we are deeply concerned for their welfare and taking action. Farmers’ livestock, and families and their pets – these communities depend on their animals and are in need of your urgent help.
Together we can make sure the help these animals so desperately need gets through to them. You can help us deliver life-saving veterinary treatment, urgent medical supplies and emergency feed. Your support means we can be there for animals and their communities whenever and wherever a disaster strikes.
Our dedicated teams are working around the clock. Just like they always will when a disaster strikes, to ensure that animals are never the forgotten victims. They just need the funds to make this possible. Please give a donation that could help save the lives of animals suffering in the aftermath of natural disasters.
