I Saw A Fish is a song about never giving up.
Simon Mellor wrote the song on the banks of the Mehi River in Moree. The song first appeared in the Gaayili Yugal “Connections Project” which endeavoured to build connections and interagency support programs to develop high quality outcomes for the Moree community. The song helped to de-stigmatise health issues.
Magic Electricity Box, founded by Simon, is a music publishing social enterprise that creates songs that change the world. Together with you (and ReadyFundGo), we are launching our very first crowdfunding campaign to change the world, and help this song reach more kids!
Incorporating arts activities and song is a Magic Electricity Box strategy to get extra experiences into the music. We have also collaborated with Matt Westhorpe, a gifted illustrator and artist, to bring to you a song and art opportunity like no other!

The best part of all is, if we reach our goal, we will have hit break-even. And once we start generating profit, 100% will go to funding a special music project in the NSW community of Karuah! As a social enterprise, we have decided that 100% of our profits will go to supporting arts and music projects that change the world!
So every dollar over our target will help Magic Electricity Box continue our mission to bring a little magic to every regional, remote and rural community in Australia! The profits from I Saw A Fish: Art CD will directly support artists to make the world a better place. We have picked Karuah in May 2017 as our first community project site!

We are so excited to have our first supports join the campaign, it makes such a huge difference to know we have such generous and supportive mates out there cheering us on!
